UPI Sick Leave Bank


The NEIU Voluntary Sick Leave Bank enables participating NEIU UPI members to request time from the Bank if they exhaust their sick leave.  

To join the UPI Sick Leave Bank, fill out the Enrollment Form and send it to the NEIU Human Resources Department during the Benefits Choice/Open Enrollment period, which usually occurs in May of each year. First-time members give two days of sick leave to the Bank this year, and commit to giving one day every subsequent year while participating in the Bank. 

If you have given to the Bank in the past, no form is required from you, as your annual donation of one sick leave day will automatically renew unless you contact HR to terminate your membership.
